Alright, alright, alright, it’s been a year since the San Francisco 49ers lost the big game and my scars have healed… kinda. The Kansas City Chiefs are back at the big dance and square off against the Tompa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl 55.
The KC Chiefs are back to the promised land while the Niners are leaving the rehab center. Injuries plagued this season but we’ll let the old goat (of this era) have a shot at another title because the Niners will be healthy and back in contention next season. Damnit.
Today’s game has more drama and star power than box office hit Any Given Sunday. Patrick Mahomes versus Tom Brady is the a script written from the football’s gods. Bad asses on offense and elite defenses flying around.
Patrick Mahomes is a one of a kind, he’s nothing like I’ve ever seen before so it would make sense if he was to get the win with a virtuoso performance, escaping pressure and hitting his favorite targets, Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill. That’s not going to be the case.
Tommy B is slapping tears off faces and getting his team ready to be in the best position to become a champ. Brady’s leaderships skills are bar none but he can’t play defense. Devin White and company are up to task and with the ability to rush their front four, they’ll have enough in coverage to smash Mahomie. 40-34 Bucs
We’re under a hour for kickoff so everyone grab your pleasantries and enjoy this great day. Be safe.
